Meander Our Beautiful Coastal Gardens

Two acres of lovely coastal gardens display a myriad of colorful flowers, shrubs, berries and herbs. Flagstone pathways meander around the Mendocino cottages, rose garden, lawns and trees. Find your own favorite spot to dream or picnic. Relax in the hot tub, nap in the hammock for two, or choose the loveseat swing, lounge chairs, benches or Adirondack chairs for a front row seat to watch the sun dip into the sea. Several fountains, bird baths and our little stream attract a variety of birds, bunnies and wild life however, the greatest water feature in our yard is the Pacific Ocean.

Life Is Complete with Breakfast and an Ocean View at Our Mendocino Inn

We serve a thoughtfully prepared breakfast using fresh ingredients in all of our famous recipes. Complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available all day, accompanied by our home-made biscotti.

Guest rooms do not have phones but a guest phone is available 24 hours a day. In case of an emergency there is an after hours contact person that can relay messages to guests. Some cell phones work at Agate Cove Inn, some work in the village. We provide free wireless internet connection for our guests.

Enjoy our lawn games with the ocean as a backdrop. We have croquet, bocci ball and badminton. Relax in the hot tub while watching the sun set at the end of your day.

All rooms have feather beds, Scandia down comforters, luxury linens, hair dryers, robes, coffee machines, refrigerators, microwaves, cutting boards, ice buckets, glasses, cable T.V, HBO,CD players, fire places, private decks, iron and ironing boards, complimentary sherry, games, toiletries, and a guest directory. Some rooms have DVD and VCR players.

Wine and Beer Sales
We sell Champagne and a variety of Mendocino County wines. We will be happy to chill a bottle of your favorite and place it in your room for your arrival.
We also feature a number of beers from the North Coast Brewing Company. Let us know if you would like a bucket of iced beers waiting for you in your room.
